After a smashing debut in 2012, the Trenton Double Cross Half Marathon and 10K is again set to take place through the historic streets and parks of Trenton on Saturday, November 9, 2013. Designed to showcase Trenton's unique topography, the race course goes along the Delaware River waterfront, through Cadwalader Park and through historic downtown. Over 2,500 runners and thousands more spectators took part in the race in 2012. In 2012 organizers partnered with 11 charities, helping them raise over $47,000 for their causes. The Trenton Half Marathon is certain to grow even bigger this year. For 2013, the Double Cross Trenton Half Marathon has been named one of nine races selected to join the Road Runners Club of America New Jersey Grand Prix Run to Restore the Shore series. The races were selected based on their commitment to pledge donations per runner to the Hurricane Sandy Relief Foundation.
