18’8” wide X 2’3” height, and the tip of the form is 20’8” from the floor.

“The Quantum Ring is a light responsive sculptured comprised of a suspended circular ring made of stainless steel tubing, from which cables—strung with laminate dichroic glass discs—are suspended. Working with natural gravitational forces, the cables form patterns of gentle curves that crisscross each other and form complex geometric intersections that resemble inverted domes . . . At the center of these multi-level domes is an opening or oculus . . . The glass discs . . . change color from turquoise blue to gold depending on the orientation of the viewer and refract color and light into the surrounding space. The glass discs are graduated in size as they span the cables, from small to large and vice-versa, creating the sensation of pulsating light beams and electrical charges.” – Thomas Edison State College
