Mix of Local Artists Redefines Sculpture
BSB Gallery Opens New Exhibit: SCULPTED

SCULPTED (April 21 - May 26) gives a new definition to sculpture by highlighting a small sample of the work being created by local artists in the region. The exhibit features unique pieces from nine sculptors utilizing creative processes and different materials.

Sculpted opens on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 11 am to 5 pm. Artist will be on site from 3 - 5pm. The BSB Gallery is located in the former Broad Street Bank Building at 143 East State Street in Trenton, NJ at the corner of Montgomery and East State Street. Located in the Creek to Canal Creative District(C2C), Trenton’s new cultural district created to promote all the extraordinary art being created in New Jersey’s Capital City.

The SCULPTED exhibit provides an insight into the amazing talent of works in the local area. The show includes the works of local artists: Autin Wright, Bruce Lindsay, Donna Payton, Jennifer Rubin Garey, Judith Tyndall, Kate Graves, Jason Norton, and Rory Mahon. The display also features a sculpture created by Nathan Clark on loan from the International Sculpture Center. The exhibit is curated by local artist Craig Shofed. The gallery will be apart of the celebration on April 28th - International Sculpture Day.

BSB Gallery will be open to showcase Sculpted Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 11 am to 5 pm from April 21st until May 26th, 2018. For updates visit:, facebook/bsbgallery or Only in Trenton!

Gallery Opens: Thursday, Friday, & Saturday from 11am-5pm

The new gallery reactivates one of Trenton’s many historic buildings. This impressive space in the former Broad Street Bank has high ceilings, huge columns, and the original ornate light fixtures. The mechanical works in each of the doors are all individually artistically engraved. The existing vault doors are works of art by themselves. The gallery is Trenton Downtown Association’s (TDA) latest contribution to the Creek to Canal Creative District (C2C), Trenton’s first arts and cultural district. This new space will be a platform to promote and recognize all the extraordinary art being created in our Capital City.
