With roots in Trenton going back over 100 years, Mercer County Community College continues to maintain a large and vigorous educational presence in the county seat and state capital. MCCC's main campus is located in West Windsor, with the satellite James Kerney Campus located on North Broad Street in Trenton. A two-year community college offering an open-door admission policy for higher education, MCCC enrolls over 13,000 students each year. The Kerney Campus is a modern 19,000-square foot educational facility offering college-level courses to students in and outside of Trenton. The college also offers classes, mentoring and career development programs for middle and high school students as well as adults at its Kerney Campus. Underscoring its commitment to Trenton, in 2012 MCCC opened its brand new Trenton Hall building across the street from the Kerney Campus, to house its fashion and art major programs.
